Product Description

Attractive little pumpkins with a high sugar content and sweet tasty flesh, ideal for roast109, soups and pies. A good size for culinary use, also stores well.

For indoor sowing

  • When March to May
  • Where In small pots of moist compost
  • How Sow singly into pots edgeways into compost. Cover with a fine layer of compost. Cover with glass, polythene or propagator lid. Keep at approx. 15-20"C Seedlings appear 7-21 days
  • Care Remove cover when seedlings appear At 5-6 leaf stage stand outside for a few days (avoid frosts). Transplant 90cm apart in growing position. Keep moist and weed free
  • Harvest September to November. Harvest before first frosts

For outdoor sowing

  • When May
  • Where In a prepared seed bed
  • How Sow 2 seeds per position 90cm apart Cover lightly with fine soil Firm gently and keep mo1st
  • Care When large enough thin to one seedling per position. Keep moist and weed free
  • Harvest September to November. Will store for several weeks in a cool, dry, frost free location

Tip When fruits start to swell give a liquid feed every 7-1 0 days
